I must admit, I was a little worried to try these at first. I was afraid they’d be too chunky of glitter giving off a less mature look. Being that I’m a 40year old woman I did not want to come off as trying too hard to “be youthful”. But let me tell you, if you share those concerns, we are oh so wrong!Instead, these Glimmer and Glow Sticks by Unicorn Glow leave a beautiful, smooth finish. They are super easy to apply and feel as though they provide the skin with a good amount of hydration while still achieving the perfect amount of illumination to the skin. They are not rough or chunky at all! I especially love how convenient they are for on the go use.They offer 2 different translucent hues. One is a silver base iridescent providing pretty subtle purple, pink and blue tones. The other is gold base and provides beautiful warm copper and champagne glimmer. I can’t get over how soft and eye catching these Cooling Glow Sticks are!Pro tip: As a Pro MUA of 22 years, I also like to apply this to the eyelids using my fingertips or a brush for an easily removed, added pop.

As an esthetician and makeup artist with 14 years of experience, I am always excited to try out new innovative products! Of course as a makeup artist, I like to be up to date on all the trends and products so I was excited for this new product from UNICORN GLOW. Also, how great is this company name!!! At first glance, I love the colors of these Glimmer & Glow Sticks, particularly the gold color. However, once I used the product on my skin it was too ‘watery’ for my preference. My skin is already oily and I have some scaring on my skin, so the added ‘wet’ feeling made me uncomfortable and self-conscious. Of course this is a personal opinion and will not be the experience of everyone—heads up to those that have oily skin. Beside this, I love that a lot goes a long way with this product and the applicator minimizes waste. UNICORN GLOW Chill-Out Cooling Glimmer & Glow Stick (For Face & Body)- Let’s start with what I love! The cooling of the stick is refreshing, lovely, and uplifting, and using this on a client when it’s hot out would be fantastic for the whole refreshing vibe. The stick! I am a huge fan of stick products and I am thrilled to see them making a comeback all across the world of beauty right now. They are easy to use, carry and store. I wish everyone created sticks in every formula that was a cream formula. I love the added hydration and this is where they lose me but let me tell you admittedly, I am not their consumer. They lost me at unicorn stick. Stick was the winner but the unicorn lost me as I knew immediately GLITTER. I am with a good highlighter and for me that means, glow, glossy, wet, dewy, sleek, slick but NEVER glitter. I don’t use it on myself and I don’t use hi-lighters with glitter on my clients. They take over and it somehow becomes all about the glitter vs. the overall look. It’s a pass for me.

A highlighter that has hyaluronic acid… Yes! I love me anything that contributes to making my skin glow so the UNICORN GLOW Chill-Out Cooling Glimmer & Glow Stick is definitely a go to. I do like the twist up applicator, given that a lot of the highlighters I use tend to be in a powder firm and require a brush. The UNICORN GLOW Chill-Out Cooling Glimmer & Glow Stick is easy to glide. With the UNICORN GLOW Chill-Out Cooling Glimmer & Glow Stick, I apply it to my face and body. Regarding my face, highlighting my upper cheeks, tip of nose, nose bridge, upper lip, as well as under my eye. My skin definitely looks lively after using the UNICORN GLOW Chill-Out Cooling Glimmer & Glow Stick. On my body, I apply it to my collarbones to make it pop more and it does wonders.

Let me with: THESE STICKS ARE FOR EVERYONE. They are extremely multi-purpose, and work for everyone at any age range. Sure, it’s just a benefit that they’re a product for starters. They can easily enhance eyeshadow, lipstick, or add some pizazz to bare lids or lips. The UNICORN GLOW Chill-Out Cooling Glimmer & Glow Stick is a water-based, multi-purpose formula that’s great for the face or body. UNICORN GLOW markets that the product formula is infused with 42% moisture content, and I see that! The product is super hydrating and doesn’t lift up your makeup base or blush when you add it on the top. The glitter payoff is vibrant and buildable, which allows you to flexibility of teeny glitter or full Euphoria! I love that this product isn’t sticky or tacky but it does dry quickly so grab that brush/blender and be fast. Another big benefit to this product is the ingredients are clean, which allows the glitter to be multi-purpose without fear of irritation like other body glitter products. One complaint I had was that 02/Dress leaves a teensy white cast behind. Nothing major, but I do have to put effort into brushing it out when I use it. The product claims to cool the skin which I didn’t really notice, but other than that, It’s also longwearing. I can wear it for an entire day and maintain the payoff, especially on hot Colorado days. The Unicorn Glow Chill-Out Cooling Glimmer and Glow Stick is very fun and cute for the Summer. I’ve been to quite a few different warm climates since I’ve gotten it and the look it gives after I’ve sat out at the pool for a minute is everything! I wasn’t impressed with the packaging and I think I’m comparing it to other products that I’ve used with the Unicorn name attached to it. They’ve all been really fun with the sweetest scents and I would expect a little more from that end. However, the product itself is extremely satisfying. The application was pretty smooth for me. It didn’t collide with my moisturizer or sunscreen. It also made some of my outfits with a little more skin pop a little. I recommend being careful if applying with your clothes on though
