This is a very sheer, lightweight foundation with buildable coverage. One layer is pretty sheer with not a lot of coverage, but it is comfortable and gives a nice dewy finish. And it does seem to cling to your facial hair a bit.

I really do like the formula of this foundation because it’s lightweight and looks like skin even after setting with powder. This blends like a dream and covers the redness around my nose. The only downside is that the color pulls very orange on my skin. Adding color corrector helps but still kinda upsetting. There is also a slight fragrance almost like baby powder which doesn’t bother me, but it’s something to note.
Since menopause, makeup has been a PITA. Nothing wants to sit right on my face anymore, and it seems to change from day to day. I moisturize plenty before starting, so you'd think foundation would go on ok, but it usually doesn't.This Unicorn Glow foundation turned out to be a really nice match for my fair skin. I'm fair, but don't really lean pink or yellow or even neutral. I'm sort of a super fair olive if that makes sense. Because of this, nothing looks exactly right, but I'll take anything close and this foundations fits the bill.So the color is good, but how does it sit? Pretty darn nicely on top of moisturized and primed skin. It was very light and had an almost translucent quality. It looked closer to a no-makeup look, but with an even skin tone. Perfect for everyday. It didn't get dry and cakey in the creases either. When I tried a heavier application though, it didn't look particularly flattering. This foundation for me is good for the no-makeup look, but doesn't work layering as it amplifies my imperfections.
Admittedly I don't use much makeup but this went on smoothly and had moderate coverage. I barely felt it on my skin after applying. It has a nice smell and didn't irritate my sensitive skin.
This review is for UNICORN GLOW SLEEK SERUM FOUNDATION in the color 117C. It has liquidy sheer coverage(buildable), blurs, and has a natural finish. The pale shade matches my skin well. It contains moisturizing hyaluronic acid. It applies easily with either fingers or sponge. I finger applied it sheerly for an almost no-makeup kind of look. It lasted well(I did powder over it lightly). I will continue to use this product.
I wasn't sure about the color at first. It's pretty pale. I found that if I used a sponge to apply this it around my eyes and nose I can simply mix it with a darker foundation if I want more coverage. It's moisturizeing. My face is sensitive and dries easily with foundations. It still fit a little tight in the outside creases of my nose but that was a fixable issue. I just applied more of my regular moisturizer on top. It is an ok product but I will stick to my regular foundation. Its a matter of coverage.
This serum foundation looks and feels very lightweight. You will not feel like you are wearing anything. The coverage is somewhat decent as long as you don’t have a lot of blemishes when you use it. It makes my skin look more toned, hydrated and smooth after. I posted a picture of the foundation blended on my hand so you can see what it looks like unedited on skin.Overall, This foundation is perfect if you don’t like the feel of foundation on your skin. Plus, this foundation makes your skin healthier, smoother and dewy. I love it!
A very VERY lightweight and liquid foundation that allows you to build coverage to a certain extent. I'm very pale with pink undertones, and I am pleased that this foundation ended up being so sheer. It starts out as barely noticeable and you can add additional layers, but at about medium coverage it starts to looked a little caked on. I don't mind this being such a sheer foundation at all, as I prefer coverage that is medium or less. I can add more in to areas that need more coverage while not making my face feel like it's buried under product. The 'glow' is pretty mild and is pretty much what they describe as "your skin but better". There's no sparkle or reflective particulate in this foundation. It just evens things out. Another plus is this foundation doesn't oxidize over the course of the day and turn my skin a weird shade of orange.For me, I do need a primer with this foundation to ensure it applies evenly over my skin. Being so lightweight this foundation doesn't settle into fine line, but it also doesn't do anything to hide them. The liquid applies easily and is simple to blend across skin. Since it is a liquid, allow it time to dry before applying further makeup. When using this foundation, I can't skip using concealer in the under eye area since it isn't heavy enough to cover those spots on its own. It does let things like freckles show through, which I like as it keeps my face from looking too made up which is the more natural look I try for most of the time. This foundation isn't matte or mattifying, nor does it help keep oily skin in check. If you tend to get shiny you will want to keep oil blotting sheets or a mattifying compact on hand. Also with this foundation, you can easily adjust it to fit your skin any time of the year - paler winter skin, tanned summer skin, fading tanned skin in the fall - and not need to buy multiple shades of foundation. A drop or two of a color correcting product (several makeup lines offer them), and you can easily adjust the shade to match your skin.I wasn't sure if I'd like this, but now that I've had a few weeks of application, I have to say I'm a fan. The color range doesn't seem to be there for darker skin tones, but it does offer a nice variety of shades for very pale skin. It can be hard to find a shade of foundation for insanely pale skin that doesn't end up too dark or too orange.
