Unicorn Glow water tint stickMy name is Shelby, I have been in the beauty industry for eight years. I got the chance to review this unicorn glow tinted lip water stick in 01 secret and 02 balloon.Starting with Balloon, I was not a fan. The pink color was not for me. I thought that I looked like a five-year-old, The pink was much too bright in my own opinion. The color was buildable, but I felt like my lips were drying out ironically. I tried the next color, Secret, and was a bit more pleased with the color of this one. The red was much more pleasing on my skin. The color again was buildable and I did like that it was giving and went on smoothly. I still had the drying problem.The tinted water sticks have a natural berry scent and the color lasts for a long time.The product is free of harmful ingredients like parabens and also cruelty free.I won’t be looking for this product in stores anytime soon.

I really appreciate the water aspect that Unicorn Glow incorporates into their products. So far, the couple of items I’ve been fortunate enough to try, had a beautiful, moisturizing slip to them because of all the hydrating ingredients they contain.Their Tinted Lip Water Stick was no exception. Unlike many other matte finish lip colors, this one is sure not to cake up at the waterline nor dry out your lips. Instead, it goes on smoothly and offers a naturally flushed result. I especially like that although it provides a long lasting finish, it also wipes off with ease.This lip tint offers more of a natural, translucent tone rather than an opaque full coverage finish. It makes for a quick fix to add a slight pop of color on the days when you wish to have a more organic appearance.Pro tip: Apply 2 coats for a stronger color pay off.

I have been a BT expert for almost a year and pleased to share another product review with you. This time I am reviewing UNICORN GLOW Tinted Lip Water Stick (01 Secret / 02 Balloon). These tinted water sticks are new to me, so I was excited to give each a try. They each have an inviting fruity scent and dries instantly. For me neither were hydrating enough. I later layered them with a different product and they worked a little better. Honestly I prefer a cream. The colors are vibrant and can compliment any complexion. The are lightweight and give you nice lip stain. Also could be blended and used as a blush. Overall my experience was average.

As a stylist, instructor and barber for more than 30 years I have had the experience of using quite a few Haircare and skincare products. The unicorn glow tinted lip water stick was ok, however I wasn’t wowed with the performance. As far as hydration it went on nice and wet but as it dried so did my lips. It says it’s buildable but I couldn’t imagine how much building it would take to get a nice enough tint to be acceptable on a daily basis. To me it gave the appearance of lipstick that was on several hours ago and stained did t last as long as my makeup. The color never was even no matter how many applications I applied. I actually will hold on to it to give to my daughters since they are anxious to get big enough to wear lipstick. Not sold on the lip water sticks.

As a beauty specialist who loves dabbling with lip products, I really wanted to like this product.The first product I dabbled with was 01 Secret which looks like a burnt red (which I like) vs 02 Balloon which was a gentle pinkish color that stretches a bit to magenta.The product itself is formulated with 10 hydrating Hyaluronic acids which helps moisturize and plump your lips, helping to fill in cracks on the surface of your lips and keep the cells loaded with moisture. However, since it's natural and does break down inside your body, hyaluronic acid needs to be continuously and consistently used to maintain its plumping effect.The downside of the product that I’ve noticed while using it, is that it did leave my lips feeling a little more on the drier side which feels like it contradicts what its for. It is a semi matt finish which could be the reason for the dryness.But other than that, i did enjoy the product for its vivid colors. I can definitely say that it definitely works as a vibrant lip stain. Another thing I really liked about this product is how it just glides on. The silky and watery texture is something I never felt in a product and that texture alone feels AMAZING. Just like scooping a bit of water and gliding it on your lips. I really wish it moisturized my lips more than it did. But what I ended up doing is adding a lip oil on top for that extra “mmf.”

I really wanted to like this product, but this tinted lipstick is not for me. Usually don’t use lip stains/tints as they tend to make my pout dry and will crack. So, I thought this one would be different since it has a watery texture (made of 59% moisture content) and is formulated with 10 hydrating ingredients, one of them being Hyaluronic acid. Love most things about K-beauty, but not a big fan of the lip tints. However, I feel that it will be a good product for those who are looking for an easy-to-apply, quick-to-dry, semi-matte color that will not go anywhere. I have to say that the color is buildable, smells delicious, and stays put until I use Micellar water to help take it off. As the pigments will adhere to the lips, so if one wants more natural pigmentation of a lipstick and is between the quality of a lip stain, I suggest pairing this product with your favorite shade lip color. For example, I like to pop similar color of the lip tint underneath my lipstick.
