Great for a little girl playing dress-up
This is a lipstick I would give to my 5 year old daughter to play dress up with. It is hard to apply so you don't get a lot unless you go over it 5 or 6 times. The color is a muted red even though it looked violet in the tube. It is a tint rather than a lipstick which would be perfect to apply alone or over other actual lipsticks but since it was so hard to get any of the product on your lips, you wipe away any lipstick you had on trying to apply it.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to try out the unicorn glow tinted lip water stick! If your looking for a long lasting lightweight, lip color this is for you. If your wondering why it’s called a lip water stick, it’s because this product really glides on feeling like a watercolor paint. The colors are bold and fun, and give a stained pop of color that will stay all day! You can build up the intensity from sheer to pretty full coverage color. This dries matte, so if you like a glossy wet look, you can layer your favorite balm or gloss. The only thing I wish is that after the color sets, that the product felt a bit more hydrating. I used this with a lip balm to keep my lips moist and “juicy” but for those who prefer a matte finish this will definitely work without any additional lip product.

this tinted lip water stick by Unicorn glow packs a powerful pop of color. it goes on smoothly , is non- transferable, build-able and dries to a soft matte finish. it definitely is a stain..my color lasted all day,, but the formula grew increasingly matte and cracked on my lips; i was able to soften it a bit by placing a lip balm on top. .the matte finish softened a bit, and the color lasted, but applying a balm over it midday to continue the look left me a bit disappointed. i found this balm to work for me best under a sheer lip stick or a glass over it as i got more staying power and less cracking. the colors were lovely: 01 one is a red, and 02 is a pink, and you can adjust the color based on how much you apply. overall, not my favorite, save for the long lasting color.**This review was created through an educational promotional event hosted between the brand and beauty experts.**

At the moment I am still weary about this product. Don’t get me wrong these colors are vibrant and smooth, however if you do not prep the lip before application you’ll see a lot of different staining on the lips. Please be sure to do a lip scrub or hydrate for the best color saturation and lightly apply the stick for subtle color. These colors are not as natural as I thought from the packaging but you can layer the colors to get a custom color or add a gloss for a shinier and diluted color. As a makeup artist is would be great to layer in after lining the lips then putting a lipstick on top for a bit more longevity. The after finish is slightly shiny howbwe super moisturized unlike other stains that leave your lips drier than when you started.

I wanted to love this product so badly, but the two colors I received were entirely too dark for my skin and did not go with my complexion at all. I ended up just applying each color onto my hand, and then when I did, I could not get it off! I scrubbed my hand for what felt like forever, and it still did not come off for two entire days! If you have darker skin and features or if you like to wear bright bold lip colors, this may be the product for you. I would love to have tried this product in a lighter color, or one more flattering to my skin-tone. I am also slightly dismayed by how long it takes to get the color off! I did enjoy the product's consistency and how effortless it was to apply. I also really enjoyed the scent which was minimal, but sweet and fruity!

I really wanted to use these lip water sticks but the colors did not go with my skin tone at all. The product looks much darker in the tube than it does when applied to the lips. I will say they smelled so sweet and a little tart and I loved it! It felt cool, smooth, and water like when applied but needed multiple layers before it looked decent. Unfortunately the colors were not it for me. The formulation is a lip stain and when it says stain, it means STAIN. I could not for the life of me get this off my lips. I tried oil based cleanser, regular cleanser, cleansing balm, lip scrub etc and my lips were still stained and I look like I ate 50 ICEEs. It did dry matte so I will say that if the color was better I would have liked these, but honestly it was difficult to remove.

UNICORN GLOW Tinted Lip Water has been designed to give your lips a tint while hydrating your lips. It’s formulations include 59% moisture content and 10 hydrating Hyaluronic Acid's to help moisturize and hydrate your lips. It has no fragrance and it’s cruelty free. As a lip tint that is made to hydrate and moisturize the lips, I can say it didn’t work for me. When applying it felt cooling but immediately would dry out before finishing applying it all on my lips. The next day I decided to add my favorite chapstick for the moisture before applying the tinted lip stain and it worked better. I did like the colors and how it would definitely stay in my lips for more then an hour, but I just couldn’t get over the fact that it’s still would look a little blotchy and how my lips didn’t feel moisturized or hydrated.

This product is a perfect depiction of the good, the baddie and the ugly. The Tinted Lip Water Stick by Unicorn Glow is multifaceted and in theory sounds like it should be a fabulous product. For me, use of this product with all over the place. Let me try to summarize what I experienced. The GOOD packed full of hydrating ingredients an Allergy free Fragrance is used to make the user experience delightful super lightweight and has very natural feeling once applied to lipsThe Baddie: feels like a slippery water slide all over your lips when applied (it’s very unique) the color is buildable to make a bolder, more saturated finish the color stays put once dried, even while eating or canoodling The Ugly: no matter how much I prepped my lips, this stain dried blotchy on my lips the color options I tried (Secret and Balloon) looked very similar to each other and it was hard to tell the difference In conclusion, I think this product is cool but ultimately not for me. As a 44 year old beauty advisor and skincare enthusiast m, I’m always on the prowl for new products and I’m not afraid to try anything at least once. Having said that, I’m not a big fan of lip stain products. They typically lack moisture and I prefer cream lipsticks or semi-matte. I hat makes the Unicorn Glow Tinted Lip Water Sticks unique is that they glide on like a cream and don’t immediately feel dry, although the formula is thin like most lip stains. It’s lightweight and water based and it really does last for hours. These are a great idea for someone who likes lip stains but doesn’t like the dryness of the usual marker style lip stain product. I, personally would not purchase these because they still don’t really suit the texture I’m looking for and neither of the colors really looked good on me, but they are a step above other lip stain products on the market.
