As a 44 year old beauty advisor and skincare enthusiast, I’m always on the prowl for new products and I’m not afraid to try anything at least once. Having said that, the Unicorn Glow Chill Out Cooling Glimmer & Glow Stick is not a product I’m likely to use again in either shade ( 01 Coin and 02 Dress). At my age, I love the idea of glowing skin so I’m totally on board with that aspect, but the glittery shimmer is a bit too much for me. It sort of felt like some 90s nostalgia when I saw it on my face. Those days were all about glitter, sparkle, and lip gloss for me so this product really took me back to those days for a moment. But at my age, I’m not interested in so much glitter. This product may be a good choice for someone a little younger, though, and will definitely give you a nice Summertime shimmer. It’s just not quite what I’m looking for. BUT if I were in my 20s, I might be.

If you love to bring out your inner unicorn with stay power subtle glitter, UNICORN GLOW Chill-Out Cooling Glimmer & Glow Stick (For Face & Body) is the ticket. I actually find that the word glimmer is the best suited description for how fine this glitter is. The word glow on the other hand is not how I would describe this, that is something that simply highlights without glitter. This goes on feeling cool and a bit watery but sets quickly and really does stay on. This is a fancy addition for anyone that loves to wear glitter but doesn’t want the large plastic products of the past. Those sometimes are irradiating as well, this isn’t at all! You don’t even know its there! This is quite the feat for more dramatic make up looks and to include 10 hyaluronic acids will ensure your skin doesn’t feel dry. The gold shimmer (coin) will blend in well with olive to darker skin tones and the white/blue/silver shimmer (dress) will knock out the princess/unicorn look like no other! This isn't an everyday thing for me, but love doing special party and event looks on others.

These UNICORN GLOW Chill-Out Cooling Glimmer & Glow Stick (For Face & Body) were really cute and felt really nice gliding them on your skin. But as a woman over 30, I have to say all of the glitter and shine is not very flattering on my skin. The cooling sensation and moisture when you first glide these on feels really nice but doesn't last and the amount of glitter that is left behind even when buffed out it too much for everyday wear for me personally. The hyaluronic acid in these sticks is really great but doesn't provide enough moisture the outweigh the glitter. I can see these being really fun for the younger generation for events, concerts, etc. My sister is a face painter, and these would be a nice addition to her kit for teens who don't want a full face of paint but do what something sparkly.

The Unicorn Glow Chill Out Stick is a fun little glitter stick that is actually cooling when you put it on. If you are hot or having a hot flash, it feels refreshing on your skin. It evaporates quickly. It leaves a trail of sparkles! I love the glitter effect. The variety of colors are vast and pretty with a coppery glitter look. Very fine sparkles. A fun summer addition to put wherever you would like. It has a case with an adjustable base, so you can turn it up as you use it up, and avoid breaking the stick off. I think not adding SPF is a missed opportunity for this item. It would be perfect to touch up your nose, cheeks, and lips if it was a sunscreen as well. But instead it is just fun, though not extremely useful. I haven't kept it in the sun or hot car, as I am afraid it would melt into a puddle like lip balm. I live in the Las Vegas desert and run a salon here. I also worry that it may turn into glue in the heat out here as well. However, I didn't have an issue with my usage and I really liked the color!

How do you get your skin to shimmer and sparkle all day long? You try the Unicorn Glow Chill- Out Cooling Glimmer & Glow Stick! This had me shimmering for hours. The stick applicator was easy to use and apply the product to the skin. It did not glide on my cheeks like I wanted it to but it applied smoother on my neck and hands (for the picture). I was also trying for a more uniformed look for my cheeks and I didn't seem to get it. It was blotchy and felt too thick for my face. I was worried about applying too much on my cheeks since my eyeshadow shimmer did not match the glimmer on my cheeks. I applied it on my neck and I absolutely loved the amount of shimmer it gives that area and I would apply it there in the future. This may be a fun time for some cosplay!!!

The Chill-Out Cooling Glimmer & Glow Stick (For Face & Body) is pretty unique. As a lover of glitter and all things sparkly, I was very intrigued by the product. To be honest, the glimmer and glow stick isn't my favorite product on my eyes or face for that matter. It works great as an inner eye highlight but for me, that was about it. The glitter in my opinion is a little patchy and gives off a faux makeup vibe. It didn't work well over eye shadow and using the stick alone makes the lid feels sticky. However, the "cooling" aspect of the product is 100% true. As you place it on the skin the cooling is instantaneous. It is a wonderful sensation and I would love to try the cooling effect in an eye serum or eye cream stick. This product would be great for festivals and for younger makeup wearers.

I have been looking for a new highlighter and am sad to report it will not be the Unicorn Glow Chill-Out Cooling Glimmer and Glow Stick for Face and Body.  It is absolutely cooling when you put it on and lightly hydrating but overall, I found it hard to work with.  Instead of a subtle shimmer it is much more of a 90’s glitter stick.  It dries quickly and did not blend as easily as other items I am used to using.  On very pale skin, I did not notice a significant color difference between the two shades as I would describe them as clear to nude. At $9 it is a great price and I would buy it for a teen or to go clubbing but personally would not use this in a professional, everyday setting. -Reviewed by a former Beauty Buyer for a luxury department store.

The pink packaging is super cute and product comes in a stick form with .39 oz of product. These chill out cooling glimmer & glow sticks are formulated with 42% moisture content, delivering an instant cooling factor the moment you apply. I really like this cooling effect. The pearl shimmering shadow sticks glides on effortlessly, the only thing that I am not loving is that shimmer is not fine and in my opinion is not great to be used as a highlighter. It is too chunky. I however can see it using it on my body.
